MANSFIELD, PA – Forty-six members of the Mansfield University Concert Choir under the direction of Dr. Peggy Dettwiler, will depart Sunday for Spain and Southern France for their ninth concert tour since 1996. This one has been delayed since 2020 so everyone travels with great anticipation to Spain (Madrid, Segovia, Avila, El Escorial, Barcelona, Montserrat) and France (Carcassonne, Avignon, Arles, Aix-en-Provence.) They will perform in some of the great cathedrals and historical sites such as the Palau de la Musicia, in the Monastery with the famed Montserrat Children’s Choir at the Basilica, the magnificent La Sagrada Familia, and finally in the Eglise Saint-Agricole in Avignon.
