During a recent performance of the MU Festival Chorus, Mansfield Mayor Kathy Barrett surprised Director of Choral Activities Dr. Peggy Dettwiler with a proclamation naming April 23, 2022 Peggy Dettwiler Day in Mansfield!

The proclamation recognized Dr. Dettwiller for her accomplishments locally, nationally, and internationally as well as thanking her for helping to build a renowned music program the university and the community could enjoy.
